Dr. Christian Sasse and Dr. Giorgia Auteri
Giorgia and Christian started The Humans & Wildlife Show over a shared passion for environmental conservation and animals. During the weekly livestream, they bring viewers into an active dialogue during broadcasts to share their thoughts, experiences, and questions. Although you can watch the episode replays, their favorite thing is when viewers join and interact in real-time.
Christian Sasse
Dr. Christian Sasse brings his passion of the natural world, especially wildlife and astronomy, to his subscribers though his unique photography abilities. His academic background as an electrical engineer and physicist, and his knowledge of optics and the physical properties of light shaped his photography. His photography uniquely captures colors and patterns due to his keen sense of how objects reflect, refract, diffract and transmit light. He is now the astronomer-in-charge for iTelescope.
Giorgia Auteri
Dr. Giorgia Auteri is a professor at Missouri State University's biology department. She studies animals, most often bats, in the context of their evolution and ecology. Giorgia has worked with animals in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, which has given her a broad perspective on how different interest groups view animals and conservation. She is also a passionate rock climber (check out our cliffhanger wildlife episode) and sci-fi nerd.
