Baheerathan is a PhD student at the School of Biology, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), India. He’s working on the visual ecology of the pteropodid bats of south India. His research investigates the impact of light pollution among pteropodids that roost in urban/semi-urban landscapes, and estimation and comparison of the visual acuity among species using neuro-anatomical methods.
In this episode we will discuss about bats behavior and conservation in an Indian context.
