Raptor rescue during a heatwave

It is HOT right now in western North America, and humans aren't the only ones suffering. Many raptor chicks are overheating in their nests, and either throw themselves out in an attempt to escape the heat, or die in the nest. Although they can't fully fly yet, some of the nest evacuees survive and end up at wildlife rehab centers. We  interview care manager Rob Hope with O.W.L. (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehab Center and David Hancock, an eagle biologist with the Hancock Wildlife Foundation. They discuss the totally unprecedented level of inundation they're currently experiencing at the rehab center. Bear with us through technical difficulties at the start of the show (which end around 8 minutes in).
