Advocating for wildlife

In the pilot episode of The Humans & Wildlife Show, guest Molly Tamulevich, with the Michigan chapter of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), talks about the nonprofit's wildlife advocacy efforts.

Much of Molly's current work involves pushing for legislation against trophy hunting. The sport is associated with hunting practices many consider unethical such as baiting, destruction of rare animals, and killing animals exclusively for bragging rights instead of sustenance. Defenders of the practice argue trophy hunting is an important way to channel money towards conservation initiatives. Molly talks about all this and more.
